Here are the some of the steps our technicians are going to take when performing the heating system test:

Gas Furnace Checks $89.95* per unit

  • Check thermostat calibration (improperly calibrated thermostats will result in incorrect temperature in the home.)
  • Check heat anticipator setting (a properly adjusted system will deliver a more constant level of heat.)
  • Clean and check the blower fan to remove buildup of dirt and dust, which reduces the amount of air circulated through your home.
  • Wash or clean any washable filter.
  • Clean gas burners; check for proper burning.
  • Check all electronics.
  • Check for proper temperature rise to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Check heat exchanger with a fiber optic video inspection system.
  • Check fan control.
  • Check for flue obstructions (proper venting of flue gasses is necessary to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning in your home.)
  • ENVIROCON the system to kill the mold and mildew that grows in a forced air system.

Gas Boiler Checks $89.95* per unit

  • Check thermostat calibration (improperly calibrated thermostats will result in incorrect temperature in the home.)
  • Check heat anticipator setting (a properly adjusted system will deliver a more constant level of heat.)
  • Check water temperature and pressure for proper operation.
  • Check burner operation; clean and adjust if necessary.
