What Is the DSIRE?<\/h2>\r\n

When it comes to finding home energy programs in the United States, there are few tools as valuable to a homeowner as the DSIRE: the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

This database, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and operated by the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center at NC State University, compiles over 2,600 different programs and policies at the state, federal, and local levels.<\/p>\r\n

If there’s an opportunity for you to save on energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy storage, electric vehicles, and similar technologies, you can find it on the DSIRE website.<\/p>\r\n

Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credits for Residential Homes<\/h2>\r\n

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 has created and extended\u00a0tax credits and\u00a0rebates intended to encourage upgrades to high-efficiency equipment in primary residences, such as HVAC systems and water heaters.<\/p>\r\n
